I don't know how I feel about sharing this but... I will. I've had a breast lift and augmentation - saline implants. I was very concerned about loss of sensation because my nipples are exceptionally sensitive. I was also concerned that too much abuse (and I mean that in the very best way) might pop the implants. But how do you address the subject???? Well, I was concerned enough that I went ahead and asked. At first I asked whether rough sex would be safe and when the surgeon assured me that it would be, I reiterated my question, emphasizing that I meant really rough. And when he assured me again, I said, "Ok, I'm just gonna be blunt with you. I'm talking about whether they can handle direct impact of the seriously rough kind" and he was very cool and told me not to worry, that he understood and that there was just no way that they were going to pop as a result of some external force.
Now, I'm sure there's a limit but it isn't something I worry about. I was also able to express to him, repeaaaaatedly, that it wasn't worth it to me to have the surgery if I was going to lose sensation. He couldn't promise because they are messing around with the nerves that facilitate sensitivity, but I still remember waking from general anasthesia and him telling me that he was exceptionally careful because he knew how important it was to me. I'm not sure that one of my nipples isn't even more sensitive than it was before. The other one might be a tad less sensitive than it previously was - but that isn't enough to even complain about.
I hope my reply was of some value to you, OP. I sort of feel like I bared my breasts to answer it! I encourage anyone considering major surgery of this or any nature to be honest with their questions before-hand. If the doctor is put off by a sincere query of this sort, find another one. It's probably better asked by the one who consents to the torture than by a guy who might very well come off looking like a dangerous abuser. Beyond that, hey, it's a lifestyle. They don't have to like it, right?
