Manchester United fan ? ... those are the games that  are worth looking forward to ! ... without worthy rivals, the sport is nothing. (Man U are of course SECOND  ... to Rangers in terms of rivalry status)

Barring anything significant coming along to improve fortunes or the trading of players, especially hot prospects currently under 17, being conducted successfully, I can foresee insolvency not too far down the road - which would inevitably mean a relegation every bit as shocking as what happened to Leeds Utd.  

The one real hope is the world wide following. I contend that if Man U were on the brink, there would be massive donations from all over the globe to help them out.

USA will, this summer ...in 135 days time ... in South Africa in the World Cup (so named because it actually DOES involve virtually every country in the world ), trot out for their first game of the World Cup Finals 2010 ... against ... ENGLAND. Stop laughing you brits ... what d'ya think this is ... bloody humour or what ? after all ... remember that David chap and the Goliath dude.

I guess Domiguy is warming up ready to join in with the rest of his hopeful countrypeople in support, now, who thinks we should tell him to fetch himself a 6 pack out before the kick off ? , anyone reckon we can convince him there's 45 to 50 minutes between Ad breaks ?

SERIOUSLY (titters) there's a very real chance of the World Cup going back to America ... after all, Brazil are in it, aren't they ?

If you make it to the England v USA game Domiguy, be sure to turn up with your baseball bat ... you'll blend perfectly into the background amongst the fans ! (well ... the England fans, at least )
