i doubt anyone would think anything besides "awww" when TheEngineer and i are out in public. we both wear wedding rings (he calls his "the ring of power") and we hold hands a lot.

the holding hands is twofold. one is that he LIKES leading me about and treating me like a child. the other is that by holding his hand, i can keep my balance easier and dont have to fuss about with the goddamned cane.

he opens doors for me, opens the car door, locks it, and closes it behind me (while i lean over to unlock his door). all in all it appears to be a loving couple. my parents have never said anything about it because i do the same things she does, i fetch and carry for him (except if its something heavy) and i bring him his drink and his food. all the same things that she's always done for my father.

besides, we're still newlyweds and are *supposed* to look all schmoopy around each other. good camoflauge, i say.

Well, like others have said, he constantly has his hand on my elbow or we are arm in arm, I always order our drinks, and make certain his food is ordered exactly the way he likes it, I sometimes call him Daddy, but he is 17 years older than me and some nillas do that too. We are always laughing, smiling, nuzzling, enjoying each other's company, but there is defintely an air of a very compatible male led couple, and more than once I have seen looks of envy from other men while their shrill wives sit there and boss them around or de-ball them during a nice dinner.

Also, I am to never ever pay for anything, it's not even an option, so to me that shows a sort of power and control thing as well, and I am not complaining.

. I picked up the tab once while we were dining and he went to the men's room, as a gesture of just sweetness, he was really angry and my ass was reminded that is a no-no.

When we are out He wants us to blend in, so we do. When out in the vanilla world, we carry on doing things that many couples together do. Do i though carry myself as His slave? Yes, in discreet ways, but always noticeable to him.
