Status: offline 		First: this is not a suggestion, so nobody get the smart idea it'd be a good place to pick up college kids, its not only wrong and kinda gauche, it pollutes both the life and academia if it were done for real...

nuff said.

okay Siam's post got me thinking,
if you (to the dom/mes) were conducting an experiment at Anycollege USA, to see if 'normal' minded students could be pushed over the edge into true submission ...and eventually trained into real dom-hood, how would you do it?

make the scenario as realistic as possible, realizing that you kinda have to worry about yoru department's reputation and your own grades,

so the expierment begins here, you've done the ad in the college paper, you got 6 & 6 male & female volenteers none of who have considered the life before as a choice even as far as expiermentation...go

Status: offline 		The truth is there are more in the lifestyle going to college that you realize. I know of about four groups in a couple of different colleges. The truth is they are in true submission every time the professor tells them to jump if they want a good grade and they must not express their viewpoint in classes if the professor viewpoint is different. I also know of some who discover the lifestyle while they were away at college.

Make half of the students TAs, tell the other half they are barely passing the class and that they'd better work a lot harder to keep their TA happy. Mission accomplished.

at least Mistress D. has an excuse, I wouldn't want anybody asking me to clever on command without pay.

actually though it does show how narrow one's mind can work and the thing about the classroom, while not my particular brand of fun, is a great display of Adler at work, so I'm grudginly forced to agree...but can't we get somebody nekkid...just cuz?

Status: offline 		If you look at the collarme age group 18 to 24, and some much older. College students are finding d/s all on their own. If I took a young person, it would be to train them to the Dominant side. I think way too many of our young are bending to the moronic will of indifferent educators who "teach" by handouts rather than putting out the energy to passionately teach what drew them to the field. My way would be to draw them in with the control available to them. Slowly letting them see that people will follow the one that shows an assertive personality. Sundew

They surprise me almost every single day and I am surrounded by them almost 24 hours a day and have been for over two years! I even surprise myself sometimes and I consider myself fairly normal and well-adjusted (at least that's what the therapist says )

You just reminded me that one of the more unusual places that I ever got laid was on the floor of one of the restrooms in the undergrad reading room of Shields Library (at UC Davis, for you non-Davisites). Hard tile, but it'd do in a pinch.

most likely you're right, since I've never been a proper college student, and I've never been normal, I can only go by the signs that suggest "normal" college students put the "price is right" at #1 on their daily watch schedule, would drive volvo's by choice if they could (poll numbers) which while I'm sure every campus has its pockets of the blessed weird and the grand adventurers, I'd hafta stand by "normal" though perhaps traditional woulda been a better word, --folks seem to take that as less a insult.

This sounds like 75% of my classmates!! You call them truly submissive, I call them sheep! (You know, baahhh)

Wow... I need to bring my crop to class next week. Perhaps I'll get me a little date or two :)

I work in a University (College has a completely different connotation in Canada then it does in the US... I'm still not sure of all the subtle distinctions).

I see the 18+ mass walks by my office door daily. I sit in their classes and observe them. I have one on one discussion with them. I teach to them.

At 32 and doing graduate research, I might not fall into the 18-24 group... maybe it's question of culture but grad students here are of all ages.

You don't need to train them for dominance. It's already been imposed. I see the ones that would look good holding the leash and those wearing it right away.
