And maybe people are finally noticing that Obama is a moderate Democrat, somewhere in the same political field as Johnson, Truman, or Kennedy.

Obama is a pro big business Republican.

cuckoldmepls -> RE: Obama Is Changing His Tune (2/14/2010 2:50:57 PM)

His latest chameleon color change came just a few days ago, when he declared that there is nothing wrong with big bonuses, and he conceded that baseball players and athletes make more than they do and there is nothing wrong with that.

I'm fairly certain that someone talked some sense into him, and convinced him that picking on wall street is a huge mistake, since they can bring down a presidency by manipulating the stock market. They will still make money too, since they make most of their money on stocks constantly going up and down. The more it goes up and down and the further it goes, the more money they make. It's all the amateurs out there who sell too late or buy too late that lose money.

Obama is actually part of the establishment and early on the media was willing to admit that (when Hitlery attempted to brand him as an elitist) until some big names endorsed him such as Oprah, Ted Kennedy, and Colin Powell. Then they let him spread his propoganda that he's one of us. In fact, the media was so lenient on him, that even though intelligent people knew that he was a socialist/marxist from his writings, voting record, and church he attended, he was still able to deny his socialist agenda thanks to the liberal media making it sound ridiculous to even suggest such a thing.

Lots of good videos here, exposing socialism and liberals.

Brown won because he ran as a Democrat and the Democrats lost the seat because they are trying to pass a healthcare bill which raises taxes on working families taxing “Cadillac” plans instead of the rich by income tax. Coakley was a turd candidate and they should have run congressman Ed Markey instead. Edward John "Ed" Markey (born July 11, 1946) has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1976.

Probably due to plummeting poll ratings, and the last Senate race in Massachusetts where one of the most liberal states in the country voted for a moderate, I've noticed Obama has already begun to remake himself probably at the direction of his handlers. I seriously doubt he has enough common sense to do it himself, especially considering how arrogant he is.

Just a few days ago, he announced that we need nuclear energy to help minimize global warming. Isn't this what McCain and everyone with common sense has been saying? The wind doesn't always blow and the sun doesn't always shine, so common sense would tell you that wind and solar power is not the answer. Certainly it is part of the equation, but nuclear is the only real answer for the long term especially if they refuse to minimize Immigration, and eliminate Illegal Immigration. www.numbersusa.com

Then today I actually heard him say that government must learn to live within their means. Wow, the shit is really starting to get deep in here now isn't it, as if it wasn't before?

http://babelishere.webs.com

"When the government creates jobs with more spending, they have to take more and more of your paycheck in taxes or pass the debt on to our children which means they are giving billions in interest payments to wealthy people here and abroad and to other countries, not to mention still owing the debt.

When private industry creates jobs, you actually receive a product or a service when they take your money. Now which would you rather have?"

"Any time the government imposes, taxes, fees or penalties on corporations, small businesses, financial institutions, and energy companies; they have no choice but to eventually pass the cost on to the consumer. The same works with multi million dollar lawsuit settlements. Democrats promised you a middle class tax cut in order to get elected, knowing full well that they would get far more money out of you in the long run by blocking tort reform, and passing a multitude of backdoor taxes along with their socialized healthcare."

By the way, Palin is not the answer either. Half of the conservatives won't vote for her since she doesn't have a clue about the necessity for enforcing our Immigration laws. You might as well help spread the word now, otherwise Palin will destroy the election for us again just like McAmnesty did.

Congressman Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island has called new US senator Scott Brown "a joke," after he moved up his swearing in to vote against a supporter of labor unions.

“Brown’s whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early to cast his first vote as an objection to Obama’s appointment to the National Labor Relations Board,’’ Kennedy told a reporter. » Full Story on IrishCentral.com

OK, so he's a part of the establishment.....and a Marxist. And part of his Socialist agenda is to kowtow to Wall Street.

Um, ok then.

He will soon be changing his tune concerning a tax increase for the middle class. Another campaign pledge will be broken, with higher taxes for everyone,

Did you hear that Patches is retiring? Next year will be the first time in 60 years that there isn't one of the Kennedy clan in a national office.

Maybe they should have waited til October to swear in the Senator? That way there wouldn't be anything for him to vote on.

No comments by you on the 2 Dems that voted against this same nominee? How about the 15 Senators that didn't even show up to vote on Mr. Becker?
Obviously, this is again the fault of the Repubs, and more importantly of Sen. Brown.

The audacity.

And now Bayh, a virtual lock on his seat, is retiring. The Dems only have 1 week to find and file another candidate.

If I hadn't of seen it on tv, I wouldn't have believed it. Obama is making available billions in loans to build a nuclear power plant in Georgia. This is another example of how he is changing his tune, now that his popularity ratings are dropping. This despite the fact, that democrats have blocked all new nuclear power plants for the past 30 years, allowed almost unlimited immigration, and prevented us from drilling where we need to in order to become energy independent. The key to our prosperity is energy independence. Yet, the democrats have done every thing possible to prevent that from happening ever since the Energy Dept. was created in the 1970's. Look at this Info on the Dept. of Energy. Scroll half way down.

Um, ok then.

It's nice to see him dragging out the elitist thing again*, and stressing that Obama's a member of a Marxist/socialist church as well. I didn't think Marx was big on churches, myself. but obviously cuckoo knows far more about Marx than people who've merely read his books and so don't know what they're talking about.

*(That was easily the funniest part of the 2008 election, for me. Somebody who finished bottom of his class at Annapolis but got to wreck six jets because his dad and his dad's dad before him were both admirals isn't an elitist, but a half caste who was raised by a single parent and made his own money is. How the fuck does that work?)

That depends on what you consider "pro-nuke" and what you consider a long long time.

"Previously Obama has been more hesitant. He said at a town hall meeting in Newton, Iowa, on Dec. 30, 2007, when asked if he was “truly comfortable” with the safety of nuclear power, “I start off with the premise that nuclear energy is not optimal. I am not a nuclear energy proponent.“ He then went on to say later in the same response that he has ”not ruled out nuclear ... but only so far as it is clean and safe.“

The energy plan Obama released in October 2007 only grudgingly conceded that more nuclear power is probably needed to reduce carbon emissions: ”It is unlikely that we can meet our aggressive climate goals if we eliminate nuclear power from the table.“"

I would characterize him as waffling in the past...."Absent"...something he is quite prolific at.

Thanks for your valuable input, sfb. Now what do you disagree with? They are his words not mine. "I am not a nuclear energy proponent". Couldnt be much clearer that he wasnt "pro-nuke".

Moonhead -> RE: Obama Is Changing His Tune (2/18/2010 1:54:59 PM)

So the fact that he made an admission that nuclear power couldn't be eliminated if you wanted to cut the amount you're spending on fuel back in 2007 doesn't count, then?
When somebody admits something, whether they do it grudgingly or not has no bearing on the fact that they've 'fessed up to something.

Maybe you werent responding to me then, since i said nothing about "fessing up". I said his record has waffled on nuclear power. It has.

Moonhead -> RE: Obama Is Changing His Tune (2/18/2010 2:17:14 PM)

Mea culpa. I thought you said that he's reversed his stance on nuclear power. Citing an example of him admitting that it couldn't be done away with if your country wants to cut down on the amount of money it gives to jihadists isn't the best example of that you could have picked, so you can see why I took issue with that post.
