I can understand the neighbors being a little upset if there were a lot of noise, traffic, or mobs of people dressed (or undressed) milling around in public.

"Mommy, why is that naked man being led around by a leash on his wee wee?"

But short of that, this is nothing more than the typical, self rightous, do gooder assholes and an overbearing government violating people's right to be left alone.

My friends ask me why I am buying 80 acres of of land in the middle of nowhere ? No neighbors to bothere me and no restrictions on what I build in that 6000 sq ft barn .

I can fire off my shotgun and no body knows but me .

They did the same thing to a place called the "LogCabin" here. Donations to cover food, towels, etc. 10 to 20 people at each party. Closed for zoning violations due to neighbors. Now I have to drive an extra 60 miles to play.

I agree with Silentrunner. I'm getting my land on the border of a national forest for even more privacy.

Someone talked,or they would never know cash was being exchanged. This could have all been avoided by making it a society with online bill paying and rsvps-and people shutting the fuck up. And carpooling to cut down on traffic,and entry in the back,where neighbors could not see.

No, it's pretty much prudish reactions in VA/DC/MD. I've met Paul. I've been to his place during such a night. His presence in the DC scene is very honest, well-respected and not money-grubbing.

And frankly, if you ever met the guy, you'd be hard pressed to think/say anything negative about him. He's as jovial and warm a fellow as you can conjure up.
