I'm rather hoping that my slave will take the advice I gave on another thread...  Homemade bath products.  I would love some of the salt body scrubs in green apple and pear scent.  Though a hand made flogger would also be nice.

Pretty sure it's not weird, just unusual but he found me a box of chocolates that was in a leather box made to look like a heart shaped motorcycle jacket.  I loved it!

Gifts are so individual.  The best answer is going to be as unique as the Domme herself.  As we can see, not all Dommes are into shoes, though I totally am.  The only problem is it isn't much of a surprise as they must be tried on beforehand.

I agree that gifts are individual...However, I do love shoes, but would never want them for Valentine's day. I am a big fan of jewelry. So, I am pretty sure My sub/hubby will buy Me a piece of jewelry. I know he's been looking at 5 to 7 carat tennis bracelets... So, I guess I shall see...

I get all my ideas for what kinds of gifts to give from Saturday Night Live ;-)

Last year I went to an event called Fuck Valentine's Day. I was part of the performance/entertainment. I borrowed from the dick in a box idea. The box itself represented Valentine's Day and, to continue with the theme of play on the name as was done during the promotion of the event, I was fucking Valentine's Day. Except, at the last minute, instead of putting my goods in the box, I put in a sign that said, Haha, made you look. I had similar signs on each surface of the box.

I personaly do not like artificialy created days for gifts  so valentines day has never been my thing  .... if someone only gives me gifts for  birthdays christmas and valintienes... I would not be happy ... I like gifts to come from someones desire not just from the calender

gifts of service are what I enjoy most .... especially when given from a submissive heart ..... so even though someone may be My submissive ..there is always more they can do and certainly special touches  that can be added

So  putting a chocolate on the pillow when they make the bed ...... making/getting  special bath oils and ensuring an extra nice fluffy towel when they draw my bath...... there are always ways to add a  bit of  extra special  to even the ordinary interactions

*smiles* and I delight in spoiling a boy ....

The standard around here is, for Valentine's Day, MP does the romantic thing and the boys do the kink thing.  I have never received (or wanted) shoes for Valentine's Day.  I've received a number of things over the years.  Last year, I was pretty amazed when clip 'gave' Me his consent to pierce him with needles after it had been a hard limit for him.  One the romantic side, I've received some lovely jewelery over the years.

I've banned any and all kink as Valentine's gifts this year. Poor boy has had a hell of a time coming up with anything, he knows there are a fair few kink related things I want but to actually have to think of something else has been a struggle for him. Apparently he's picked something now so I just have to wait a week to see what it is (I'm not very good at waiting lol).

I'm all for dirty little gifts most of the time, but this is our first Valentine's and I'm very soppy and sentimental. Ten years down the line when remembering him I'd rather remember a sweet romantic gift that he put a lot of thought and time into than that purple strap on I've been pestering him for. Besides, knocking things of my "I waaaaaaaant it" list would be far too easy for him.

He's getting a couple of little bits from me that I can't mention here as the pain in my ass knows I post and would likely see it :) I'm really pleased with what I've picked though and hopefully he'll like them as much as I do.

I don't have a shoe fetish, but I have a zillion pairs of shoes.. soon to be moving... and so I will have to pair down -- I have many many many pairs of boots from work related to high fetishy patent, and everything and I mean everything in between... last time the boy was at my house she said "mmm... please maybe, despite my boot fetish, no more boots..."  she said that as she knew she would be living with them soon...

I am not hoping for anything,  I prefer to simply give her something that I know she'll like and it will maie me very happy to see her open it...

and we do have a very broad relationship.. Lady/boy, girlfriends, lovers... and Butch/femme ... so I've got the newest Ipod nano for her, in green (boy green) and I had it engraved at the Apple site...

You're crazy Peon. I have tremendous sense for how to unleash romantic charm. I give to you examples of romantic lines I have been sharing in the excitement to prepare for Fuck Valentine's Day (an annual kinky event) II.

My language of love is first and foremost, Touch. My least communicative venue is gifts. I don't wear jewelry, and I'm very picky about shoes.

If we can make time where the outside world will not interfere, and each of our headspaces work, that would be wonderful. With all the stress currently going on in life, I'm not holding my breath for that to be resolved by next weekend. But that's ok, I don't hang my hat on a day in the calendar. My life is very blessed, and honestly I get more 'fabulous' days than the average person, so I have no complaints and not expectations.
