And people ask me what I am hiding by not posting a picture of my mug here?

Its Something Awful. I have no doubt we've ended up as a short-lived *chan meme at some point too.

Even if it was some completely obscure blog or twitter account with no followers, it's still significant. If someone is trolling the internet for negativity, it's been chronicled for them. If someone is trying to educate themselves on BDSM, they're going to come across sites like that along with positive, well-informed sites. It's important for kinky people to do everything they can to have as much if not more accurate and thoughtful information to counteract negative stereotyping.

For future reference, welcome to the internet.
Ignore what is posted to Something Awful, Encyclopedia Dramatica, anything containing the word "chan" in the domain and anywhere else that takes the piss out of anything and everything they can find.
If you are unable to do this then don't do anything that could put you in their firing line - which means don't post anything on the internet ever. Otherwise take it in the good humour it was intended and move on with your life.

Encyclopedia Dramatica is really going downhill.  That site used to crack me up a couple of years ago, but now most of the pages seem to be written by petulant castoffs, angry that they've been rejected by whichever site/scene they're writing about.

I agree entirely although some bits are still good the quality has taken a nosedive. I blame project chanology, brought far to many new people into those areas of the net and broke them for the rest of us.
