I learned to piss with the seat down. You want to bitch and moan about me putting the seat up? You can sit in it if I spray a bit.

Being the Dom means I get to control things as I see fit. I put a stop to destructive or counter-productive behavior and I get to fulfill a desire to protect something that, quite literally, I own. It also means I don't have to share if I don't want to.

Well bad behaviour is not Dominant behaviour.

I believe that there is a natural "rapist's" instinct in male. Rape has been the primary reproductive mechanism for most of the millions of years of human history. With the advent of Society it had to be repressed for the sake of stability and peace, but this situation is unnatural. Women are somewhere hard-wired to love their rapist too, because the more successful he is the better will do her genetic make up (which will carry on through his rapist son).
This is not a justification for rape. This is an explanation of sadomasochism, or the re-enactment of rape.

Where do people who are wired to participate in sexual relationships where "breedability" don't factor in fit into this theory?

Well, let's not avoid a concerted assessment of his point.

As primates, copulation by force is still a 'worst-case-scenario'. Hierarchical animals wouldn't develop any lure-inducing tendencies if all that was needed was to isolate a female and forcefully contain her during sex.

However, as with most any porous suggestion of how historical natural biology works, the argument fails to incorporate the fact that we are still natural animals, ones who now must be analyzed in conjunction with our ability to self-reflectively reason.

The biological makeup and habits of homo-erectus have no bearing on what currently constitutes human nature. It's like trying to test whether Windows 7 works by attempting the installation of a program built for Windows 95.

He doesn't need luck. Just the motivated pointing out that his points are flawed, based on presuming that the human condition can be traced back, simply, to more primitive primal instincts. And even if it could, it's a non sequitur to try and correlate that to sadomasochism as it is performed nowadays.

Actually, the problem with his point is more fundamental than that: if what he were saying were evolutionarily true, we'd see a lot of other behaviors in our nearest primate relatives that we just plain don't see. Mating can occur by rape, yes, but that is far less common and far less likely than mating which occurs by proper courtship protocols.

In fact, the energy requirements for reproduction-by-rape are higher, the potential payoffs lower, and the damage to the pack's social cohesion much higher than for courtship-based reproductive strategies. Heck, there's some pretty good evidence that the entirety of human speech, music, and dance all evolved as courtship rituals - something that is utterly unnecessary if sex occurs without prototypical "consent" signals.

So it's not just that his points are specious or irrelevant; they're just flat out wrong.
