A friend of mine is looking for a steel bull nose ring (not brass). She said that they are available in the UK and AU, but there's a 5-6 week wait for the product. Does anyone know of a supplier in the USA where something like this is available? One would think that a farm supply store or catalog would be the place to find one of these, but she's checked those out and has found nothing even resembling this product.

Have you looked at that? It is self piercing. Man, it looks like it would hurt. I have to say I've never seen one of those around. Imagine someone shoving that through your nipple.

Of course I looked at it, I posted the link. The piercing point can be easily removed with a grinder if the end user so desires. As for imagining it being shoved through my nipple, I'd really rather not. 10ga needles were more than enough for me thankyouverymuch. addicted2it, just what does your friend have in mind for this anyway? ~stef

Haha...I'll just stick with my newly stretched 4g seamless captive septum ring instead. For most uses you'd find far more aesthetically pleasing alternatives, for functionality I just couldn't imagine things of that size to be workable in human flesh of the bat.

stef, You know...I'm really not sure. I think it may be for a pony play presentation, or some such thing. I suggested going to Mr. S. in San Francisco, because they do stock a selection of steel cock rings, which might do the trick, if only just cosmetically. Steel can be cut easily with a hacksaw, so it could be inserted through the nose without any actual piercing. -phil

Nooo! I think not! I've had a heavy-gauge steel needle inserted through my nipple, and that was enough of a shock. Then again, if one is into heavy piercing... -phil

Thanks, stef, I check out the Web page you directed me to, and will pass that information along. However, since they live in Riverside, CA, and are going to Folsom Street Fair, I suspect that they have already left, or are on their way to the airport.
