They're not so bad if you know what to do. Actually though I would rather fight a sheperd or even a doberman, pit bulls are not invincable.
The dog should not be biting your arm off, if so you already fucked it up. Keep you extremities paralell with an imaginary vertical line with their upper and lower jaws. This will frustrate them and they will try to go for your face. At this time grab them by the neck and put said neck on floor until dog whimpers. Don't let him up until you can't hold anymore, don't let any of his bellyaching get to you. Five minutes later you will be the best of friends.
Then you tease him with food. You tell him "I got your number you SOB".
Dogs really are Man's best friend. Women are alot harder, especially if you don't want them to try to bite.
