This couldn't happen to a nicer phony. Like George Carlin said “they always want a little more”  and I hope his wife takes him for a lot because he probably cheated on her.

I had the misfortune of spending some time around him once.  i scrubbed for a week and still didn't feel I cold get clean.  He is one slimy individual.

I watched a documentary on him once. A family came to him and gave him all of their money (thousands) to cure their terminally ill young son.
The boy died. He told them it was because their faith wasn't strong enough.
He kept the money.

That's the gist of the "prosperity" gospel. If you are "good" enough, "faithful" enough, "righteous" enough or GIVE enough money.....good things happen and you prosper. If not, you suffer. Totally unbiblical and frankly it makes a mockery of Jesus' teachings. Professors of this "gospel" say all the blessings in the world are yours if you "name" them and "claim" them. They have ruined many lives with their lies and they are the only ones "claiming" anything....other peoples' money. Sad and wrong......luci

Aileen, I remember that. Another one: an elderly woman with cancer went to him, and when he told her she was "cured", she gave him the money she had set aside for meds. She died shortly thereafter, I believe.

What a pig. People like that deserve to go to hell. It almost makes me wish there actually was one. But, I don't. I just don't see how someone like that can live with themself, knowing that they are living on the misery of others. It's sickening.
