I'm so glad that the deniers here are showing their true colors. Cool It has been the basis of much of the claims of deniers, for instance the lies about polar bears thriving originates there, and it has now been documented quite throughly to be lies. You guys went apoplectic over a couple of emails that got taken out of context but ignore an entire book of lies. Now precisely which side is showing religious faith?

Status: offline 		So, Ken,  this debunked book from '07 was what established that the climate of this planet has been cycling through warmer and colder periods for billenia?  That the Vikings were growing grapes on the coast of Canada 1000-ish years ago?  That we have essentially zero data about other periods of climate change to compare all our nifty new measurements against? 

I had never even heard of this book, until you posted a link to Newsweek debunking it.

Now there is a very reasonable position, Icarys.  It is truly a shame that it was decided instead to follow the path of hysterical alarmism.

One thing that troubles me greatly, in all seriousness here, is the impact the exposure of this fraud is going to have on our youth.  The students who were required to watch Al's movie, write papers, and do projects on saving the world from global warming.  Will they ever believe again?

I do believe that something is happening on a global scale and it can be attributed back to our dumping.

Rich, no one is claiming that the plane has not gone through temperature change in the past. It seems to me, that what I have read can now take into account those variables that can explain what caused those past changes in temperatures.

In fact if you read the article from that other horribly "discredited" scientist, featured in a recent Firm thread, he said that with some volcano eruptions during the past decade that we might have expected the temps to drop....This has not been the case.

This has nothing to do with global warming....This has to do with Al Gore. You guys are so transparent. Why don't you bitch about Newt Gingrich? he has been featured in adds warning about our "global warming" future.

I hate Newt Gingrich...Global warming is bullshit.


Do you guys even bother reading the articles you think refute global warming?
