I think the real issue here is trust-or the lack thereof. I never said I handled the separations well at first. In fact , it wasn't until the last one that I conducted myself with any dignity. I called, I cried, I begged, I pleaded. I drove by his apt several times. I actually emailed his daughter to see if he was ok. Thankfully, Daddy isn't one to be manipulated. He contacted me when HE was ready, not , just because I bugged him to death. I like to think if he ever feels he needs to get my attention in this manner again, I'll handle things even better. But, I don't think I'll ever grow to like it.
