These are some good articles regarding jealousy and possessiveness. I have encountered these issues and will get jealous and possessive when I am involved in a relationship. My last relationship was a downfall for me due to my insecurity and jealousy. There was bad communication and misunderstanding coming from the ex-dom and me.

If a dom and sub have a very secure relationship with honesty and communication, these insecurities would be minimal. I have learned my lesson well and instead of being jealous, I try to be a better person. I guess I am a work in progress.

I find that Owner / property relationship is actually a celebration of possessiveness.

How did you find that?

I disagree. Possessing something and being possessive about it are not the same thing. I can possess a radio and still loan it out to all my friends and not even be all that worried if I ever get it back again.
