At least he will have plenty of opportunity to pursue such activities further in the slammer. Wonder what his wife will do and what the political spin on this is going to be? Will he go on the air and beg for forgiveness? Or will he just disappear?

First offense, DUI? I doubt he goes to jail. Rehab and probation. Unless you know something about those spendy rehabs over near the coast that I haven't heard???

I have no idea if he is going to fall quickly and quietly, or burst into flames on the way down.

We have a guy like this in South Carolina. He voted for the "defence of marriage act", never married, no girlfriend, hangs around with guys all the time, anyone care to take a guess?

Happens here too. Our local Mayor's husband did a DUI and a hit and run (oh several) and it appeared in the news briefly then disappeared. If it were any other local yokle it would be discussed for days.
