Saw it, saw some problems with it but was unsurprised by those, felt that it had slightly more accuracy in the jargon and concepts department then i've seen in the past.  i'd like to see a Domme depicted in a show outside of the context of a criminal case, criminal behavior, Pro-Domme setting or sociology of sex documentary someday. At least the murderer was a more interesting choice then is typically chosen.  i recommend watching it to those who have an interest in how North American media culture depicts and interacts with BDSM subculture.

Edit to replace a word.

Many TV shows are cop/detective shows, so there would be a criminal flavor to the story.

Yes, that's true.  i was talking about the possibility of having a Domme as a character in a show that wasn't a cop/detective show or having a Domme as a character that wasn't at some point seen as a suspect, etc. *shrug*
A writer might have to think out-of-the-box in terms of how such a character might forward the plot.  Perhaps currently improbable, but i believe that it's not impossible. . .someday.

Hey, wouldn't it be great for a new Desparate Housewife( D/s or M/s) couple to move to Wisteria Lane??

Edited for punctuation.

Heh. Why not? It could happen!  Although, i don't really watch that show.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, counter to her own silly theoretics . . .

If you saw the show, you were looking at the Stockroom's retail store--Syren's, during the visit to the shop. Local bsdm folk rented some of their stuff to the production co., too. I really liked the episode because the two stars of the series had no problem with teasing one another in a light-hearted way, no qualms about being seen playing with the domme-sub dynamic. That approach is not common where bdsm themes are part of a mainstream show. It was almost a break-through in terms of acceptance.

The attitude toward the House of Pain was also accepting.. and they went to a lot of trouble to explain that the house stayed away from sex, the dominatrices weren't treatesd by the cops as tho they were prostitutes or doing anything illegal. Tv writers often take liberties with facts, yet they made an effort in this episode to be accurate.
When the owner of the house was brought into the station for questioning, she looked fantastic: elegant, confident, a super depiction of a domme without any fetish gear.

I saw the show and enjoyed it. I enjoy the show when I get a chance to watch it, but I work second shift so normally I'm at work.
