Thank the Mods that the thread can go on, I think its a great thread Muse, honestly. There was a kind of a "you DOG" moment there because of the way you started it, but I believe that the questions raised are fair.

Regarding the post I'm responding to (quoted below)  Lets define "the center". If the United States is a center-right nation, which it is, then the "center" for the United States would be center right, which is right where I am.

I established in another thread that more Americans by a good margin define themselves as conservative than liberal. Do you recall that thread Muse, wherein you demanded my source and I happily provided you with the link to Gallup?

The center, here in the United States, is Conservative. Not far right, but center right. And the collarme crowd is a lot farther to the left, there's no doubt about that I don't think.

I dunno whether you can say where anyone stands. If you were to take Sanity (or almost anyone else for that matter) and plunk him in the middle of a PETA meeting, he'd be a diehard reactionary conservative.  Take that same person and plop him in a Tea Party bunch, and he'd be a flaming liberal.  In other words, I consider political leaning to be relative.

Agreed...people are ripping it up big time to the points that the courts are whining that they have to many cases to handle as the number of cases against gov has drastically increased

My original point in all of this, starting on the original thread was that even though Liberals such as Muse are constantly trying to paint Conservatives up as some kind of a fringe group thats way out on a limb somewhere, the opposite of that is true.

Thats the real reason behind Muses' temper tantrum, deep down inside I think he knows I'm right.

Your argument is self-contradictory. Getting cute doesn't change that. It isn't even relevant to the thread directly.

Really didn't have time to read this whole thing, Sanity is center right, if any sane person (no pun) read his posts the could clearly see that.

I believ I am center right as well... Against the death penality, pro prison reform, angainst manditory miniums, a believer in government regulation, pro most affirmative actions measure, union member, could easily find common ground with homosexual civil unions if they would just drop one word from the debate for a few decades...

what makes a poster Center btw???
