myotherself -> UK engraver needed! (3/13/2010 11:50:38 AM)

I need someone who can engrave some words onto a collar. It's a leather collar with a non-detachable metal plate on it. And what I need engraved is not something you could ask your local shoe shop to do [:D]

Happy to send it away if there's no-one in the North East of England.

Thanks!

...or lose a much-loved limb [:D]

Seriously, there are days when I think I would be better off writing in crayon cos pens are waaaay too dangerous!

[sm=Groaner.gif] ok, ok, ok...

what about...learning it with professional guidance....with googling "engraving course?"...such as here?

lol - gotta love someone who doesn't give up! [:D]

I will take a look at courses...it actually rather appeals as a hobby.

I did google engravers and fired off a couple of dozen emails, although those that replied tend to want to do volume work rather than one-off, but I'm still going. I was just hoping that people her might have already done this and saved me some time.

Now as soon as I get the cast off my broken wrist (told you I was clumsy, lol!) I will maybe do a course and start offering my own service [:D]
