When even Beck's Fox peers are sharing their disgust, says Alex Pareene in Gawker, it's clear that the "complete self-immolation portion of the Glenn Beck fame cycle" has begun. After the "hilarious embarrassment" of Beck's Eric Massa interview and his dissing of churches, I say Beck's gone within 18 months, after a "publicity disaster too large even for Fox News."

Should Fox dump Glenn Beck?

The never mild Glenn Beck is reportedly splitting the ranks at Fox News. While Chairman Roger Ailes backs the emotive, wildly popular TV-radio host, many of the network's journalists complain that Beck's inflammatory rants and antics are damaging the channel's credibility. Given the steady stream of Beck controversies -- most recently his attack on "social justice" Christians -- would Fox be better off ditching him?

That's what they have under jon description on their passports, at least. They're journalists like Dan Brown is a novelist: technically if in no other sense...

No it's this brave new world of 'news entertainment' the only thing they care about is ratings and as long as people are talking about the exploits of Glenn Beck he will remain in place.

They thrive on the dribbling Beck, the biggest mistake they could make is getting rid of him.... hes funny, hes cute, he cries like a 3 year old having a hissy fit
Millions of liberals should be scaring their kids using him as an example of how not to grow up..and why history and facts  are important
Hes almost a public service
right???
