I had a report recently ( see post 6 & 7 of this thread:http://www.forumbondage.com/bforum/showth… ) of a serious bilateral nerve injury which highlights the dangers of compromised circulation as a contributing factor.
In simple terms, discolouration of the limb below the bondage would appear to be bad news as this can indicate compromised circulation. It is much more likely that this will happen with arms than legs. In the first instance, you risk nerve injury through toxification of the blood as it cannot circulate and be cleansed/re-oygenated. A secondary problem can be oxygenated blood returning to the deprived tissue when the constriction is released.
I have posted what the doc had to say on the original thread. I'll add more on the subject when I have it.
