Level -> The Expendables (3/18/2010 3:06:02 AM)

Due out in August, this should be (hopefully) a bad ass action flick.

Just released movie posters:

I can't stand Mickey Rourke.  He was a lead thud in Angel Heart, and also in 9-1/2 Weeks.

GreedyTop -> RE: The Expendables (3/18/2010 7:15:39 AM)

I like that second poster....

If I wanna see aging he-men fighting, Ill go to P&R
ok couldnt help myself
I cannot stand Rourke, Where did they dig up Lundgren?
Ill probably watch just to see Statham:)

Is this a comic book movie?  If it is I will likely rent or buy it.  I like comic book movies.  Even when they are dumb, like "The Punisher."

Well, I can't stand Stallone, I always loved Mickey Rourke, though. I loved AngelHeart and 9 & 1/2 weeks. The rest of them, I never heard of before. I like the first poster. Those posters make it look like a Tarantino film, though. If it's Tarantino, it's got to be good!

DomImus -> RE: The Expendables (3/18/2010 4:01:31 PM)

Stallone is okay. Always loved Rocky. The last one albeit a bit farcical was a nice wrap to the series. He's been involved in more duds that hits but when he hits it's usually a big one. I would love to see Mickey Rourke do well again after "The Wrestler" which I really liked. The only other name I recognize is Lundgren - I assume that's Dolph. Where's he been since Rocky IV - living under an overpass somewhere?

I'll wait til I can downlo... err, rent it. I have grown to hate cinemas especially since I bought my flat screen television. Action movies have never been my forté. They usually have way too much act-ion and way too little act-ing.

LadyAngelika -> RE: The Expendables (3/18/2010 4:10:30 PM)

Jason Statham... I've watch him get tortured in so many movies... I'd love to test his body's resistance!

Jet Li is absolutely adorable and I love his kung fu.

David Zayas rocks. Always.

Bruce Willis has become hit or miss.

Armold, Dolph, Sly and Micky I could do without.

Oh yeah... did I mention I'm an ganster action flick nut? Specially the Brit stuff ;-)

I am almost convinced that it will be brilliant!

I'm also awaiting The Mechanic, starring Jason Statham. He plays a hitman that trains the son of one of his assasinations.
