The funny thing was - when i read these I looked at my Master/Husband and said - "I didn't know you were writing for Tiger~!"

I so agree with You and sirsholly.......these brilliant athletes havnt gone looking for the spotlight in the first place, its because that they are so good at what they do that they attract the media attention, if Tiger Woods wasnt as good a golfer as what he is, there is no way in hell that the press would have bothered.
