I need some advice please.......  Sitting around waiting for a Dom to happen upon my profile and perhaps send me a message seems like a very passive way to introduce myself to Masters on this site who are searching for someone like me.  Is there a way that I could possibily introduce myself other then sending out 7,000 intoductory hello's

Sorry but dominants don't just fall into anyone's lap. You have to put for some effort on your part too.

Go to munches in your area to meet local people. Search for dominants in your area, read their profiles and send the ones who interest you an email. No different than in the real world in that sitting at home alone isn't going to bring you your knight in shining (or tarnished) armor.

OP- the above posts are right on. Post in the introduction forum, write to Doms whose posts or profiles interest you, and check out your local BDSM community's munches and events. No need to sit around waiting for your perfect Dom to find his needle in your haystack.... hmm, that sounded kinda kinky.... [8D]

I've always thought the concept of waiting around for the right person to notice you seemed a bit silly...then you're stuck with whoever may happen upon your profile. It takes some work to find a partner and I never found it troublesome to get out there and do it since in the end I'd reap the benefits. There really isn't a way to get around putting some time into your search if you want quality results.

There's nothing wrong with msging people who's profile interest you.  Most of the time, even viewing their profile, which registered as "who's viewing me" is enough to spark a conversation, but sometimes the additional step is needed. I met a LOT of Doms that way, and not one told me it was "unsublike" of me to msg them first, most were flattered. 

And please avoid that "Good morning Sir this slave wished to introduce her lowly self to your miraculous self" tone.  Sets everything off on a bad note IMO.

I agree that you should email doms you like.  There is nothing wrong with it.

In general, I advice you to:
  1. Distinguish yourself from spammers.   Be specific, be polite, don't ask for contact outside of collarme.com in the first email, and make sure your profile is consistent with itself and your email.
  2. Avoid making them same mistakes that others do.  You get ONE physical characteristic as a primary rejection., and another that you need you be flexible about.   If you are looking for a tall, 35 year old, black, bald, in great shape man, then tough luck, while he does exist, he's not interested in you.    If you are on the other hand looking for a 35 year old, dark skinned man, preferably but not required to be bald, and in good shape, then you might find someone.   Perhaps an Indian (hindu), or maybe he's not bald but is in great shape, etc. etc.   People over-estimate how specific they can be and still find someone they like.  (Note, if you are looking for short, overweight but not fat men you can probably find a ton of them without any problem - really nice ones too.)

I would add - don't be in a hurry to take the first to offer. I met with quite a few guys for coffee, and then afterwards kept things slow. That allowed me to find out a little more about them...in the majority of cases it allowed me to find out why they may not be what I wanted/needed (in no particular order they were married/alcoholic/drug users/shag monsters).

Funnily enough, the guy I initially rejected because he didn't tick enough of my 'boxes', but remained an online friend for six months nevertheless, may well be the person I'm looking for [:)]

Just keep on trying....you'll find the person you need, even if at first you don't think it's the person you want!

Wow. For some reason, as soon as i put my first profile up, They were all over me and continued to find me when i changed my name. lol i had to work at it to keep them from writing to me and i'm also plus-sized and a little bit older than you.

That being said, i would say try the "Introduce Yourself" forum and put an attractive picture of yourself on your profile rather than your dog, however cute he/she may be.

OP, definitely advise you to change your photo. primary picture is like your handshake with strangers. it should say that you are cute not that you have a cute dog; make Fluffy your secondary picture. no matter what size you are, prospective Doms would like some idea of what you look like or what you are like. if nothing else, hit 'em with a headshot and some cleavage. cleavage goes a LONG way around here, i've found. :)

i dunno, it might just be me - but ive just read youre profile and that bit about being tested regularly for std's - well, its kinda suggesting that youre shagging around an awful lot with no protection.  that might be whats putting them off.  but again, it might just be me.

btw, im not making any comment about youre personal life at all, just i think that bit might not be working so well for you.

believe it or not I have had Miss cillie in the back seat while i Drove and she has this fascination with mammal fur and hair and kept trying to pull mine out by the bill full

to say the least it was distracting
