How many times will we have to hear how someone shot at Cantor's office even though the police say that's not the case? And when will Cantor make a statement retracting his implication that a Democrat shot at his office?

Police say gunfire that hit Cantor's office was random

The bullet that hit U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor's campaign office in downtown Richmond early Tuesday was random, Richmond police spokesman Gene Lepley said this morning. "It is a stray bullet as part of random gunfire,'' Lepley said. Police said they have no suspects. Cantor's office declined comment. Cantor announced Thursday at a news conference in Washington that his office had been fired at. Police confirmed that, saying that a bullet struck a window, landing on the floor about a foot from the window. The round struck with enough force to break the window but did not penetrate the blinds. The bullet triggered an alarm and the police were notified immediatedly. Cantor's office is in a small building several blocks from Capitol Square. It has several small offices in it. There are no Cantor signs on the doors or windows. Various Republican candidates have occupied the offices in the historic Reagan...

So when Fox "News" ran the report with the banner headline saying "Breaking news: gunman shoots up office of Number 2 House Republican," they were lying?

Gee, what are the odds of that?

Funny! It was a "random" bullet! Probably from drug dealers shooting at each other protecting their turf?
"Move along! Nothing to see here! Everything's back to normal, just drug dealers shooting at each other." "Ugh that's all! C'mon Marge, nothing to worry about!"

How comforting was it to know that it was only random flying gunfire!

I can imagine what the reaction from those on the left would have if a bullet had gone through Nancy Pelosi's office window. Stray bullet or not, Chris Mathews and the other shills would be going crazy.

I'm against any bullets going through any windows.

I trust that doesn't violate the NRA's sense of the 2nd Amendment.

I'm also against news media making shit up.

Or drawing unsupported conclusions.

I doubt we'd be making up idiotic fairy tales about "gunmen shooting up her office."

But kudos for taking the "they  did it first" gambit to an entirely new level - "they might have done it too."

Brain.... I would have thought you would have corrected this yourself?

Perhaps you missed where the Police have made an arrest...

I would have thought you would be able to read your own link and recognize these are two separate incidents.

Just because they are not the same story or shooting has nothing to do with it, brain should have looked up every shooting in the USA and played the what if it was a DEM line...then it would have been covered by the news,

Just saying every news agency was at Cantors press conference while he was saying people should not use these events for political gain then his my life was threatened speech began
