My old doctor worked part time for a few years into "retirement." His complaints were dealing with insurance companies (he just didn't anymore) and the stock market at the time.

Did I ever argue that point?

In fact, I would argue that is correct and one of the major reasons we need health care reform because too many doctors are not becoming general practitioners and opting for specialization because it is more lucrative.
