/rant hijack see, now i'm just gonna have me a little rant about people who pick on other country's spelling. now i'm assuming you're american, cause i couldn't see your profile and refuse to go through your lil ole rant there. GET OVER YOURSELF - america is not the be all and end all of the world. it's not the centre of the universe, it's not even a centre of culture!!!!! and i can rant like this, cause i'm half and half. i've been in both countries and despite the scenery and the accents, you're all pretty much the same (except the american's tend to think there is nothing worthwhile outside their own boundaries). nothing outrageously special about either side. REALLY! there. i feel better now. /end rant hijack

It's always fun that someone will come along after spending some time on the personals side of CM, then come over here to the forums side to announce their farewell. In all honesty, after a year and a half with running around 75 forum posts, why would anyone actually think those of us who use the forums would......... care? It's not like you've been a huge contributor to the discussions which is why most people are on the forum side. Think about it, OP. Do you really care what people that you don't know do with their lives or if they are leaving the site? You can moan and rant all you want about how you've only met losers here. Got news for you. That isn't most people's experience, so I have to say that the common denominator in your problems is you. I don't care how pretty and what a catch you think you are. If this rant and your obvious lack of knowledge is any measure of who you are skipping that pretty exterior, I can see why you're having trouble. So good-bye and farewell. Just remember there will be scores of people who will join the site today to take your place. And that will happen again tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that, and so on and so on...............

C. I went over your past posts. I can see how happy you were... and it seems as if you did find someone. It is obvious by your rant here that it did not end as you had hoped. Surely you have had some experience with "vanilla" relationships that did not turn out well. I had been on this site for just about the same time as You when the man who became my Master sent me an email in Jan. 09. He had joined just a week before he made contact. There are good people. Becoming jaded and combative will not help you to find a compatible partner. I rather enjoyed the posts that you previously posted: she was fun, witty and bright (although spelling was perhaps not her strongest suit [8D] ). Don't you miss the person who wrote them?

smiles... thank you to everyone who pointed out that the US spelling of words is not (surprisingly) the only way. I had actually thought that this was a common realisation/realization OP ... my question about the spelling of rediculous had actually been a sincere question as I have seen it spelt (again please note that in Australia we commonly use spelt rather than spelled) in that way on forums in the past and wondered if it is a common form of the word somewhere. I do empathise/empathize with your frustrations with some of the people on the other side however the words you chose in your vent and the way you responded to posters here ultimately reflected negatively on no one but yourself. Be the person you want to attract [:)]
