I think WMD is short for nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. NCBW, you see WMD is one initial less.

You can't destroy mass, this is a well know fact.

My pen is an IED, it hasn't exploded yet but this is because it was only improvised yesterday to be an exploding pen.

On a positive note, there is now no doubt whatever that Saddam Hussein had WMDs and the precedent has been set for a lawful invasion of any state that has so much as a hand grenade in its arsenal.

E

The precedent was already set with the Bush Doctrine.

We only have to believe there is a threat and off we go to war.

What is a WMD was defined in 1994 (assuming the bill passed as stated) - and it would seem to be anything designed to kill or which may kill more than one person at a time.

Saddam had a host of such WMDs. Our misunderstanding of Bush lies in our failure to comprehend, or to pay attention to what is and what it is not a WMD as determined openly and democratically in the US in 1994.

WMDs are without doubt a threat to life and Saddam's defiance of the post GW1 treaty clearly indicated he remained a threat. Ergo he was threatening us or should surely wish to threaten us, with WMDs in some form or another.

The only question remaining is why coalition forces, over many months, could not find a box of hand grenades or a large gauge gun in Iraq.

It was camouflaged and disguised as oil!

Wait for it, wait for it, just as soon as someone tries to go for Bush and Bliar over the illegal war in Iraq, they will trot out the definition of what a WMD is, could it be the term was defined for just such occaisions?

How do you know that WMD parts and assemblies were not spirited across the Syrian Border to escape the invasion?.... its all about blaiming Bush with you people.... not about real national security..... never saw a liberal serving in combat...they would rather be home bitching about those that do defend the nation.....even Kerry wrote his own medal citations for his politicial career.... liberals are nothing but losers...and a plague upon mankind!

One of the last places on earth that saddam hussein could have moved shit to is Syria, try to keep up. they were not at all friendly.

As I recall, Clinton and/or Reno proposed some anti-gun in the early nineties that would have established the need for an "arsenal" license if one had some combination of so many rounds of ammunition, so many weapons of such and so type, so many ammunition components, etc etc.
It wasn't so much that I needed an arsenal license for my home; it was that everyone I knew needed one for their cars if going to or from a pistol match.
There are lots of slippery slopes.

There are many who disagree (for example)...

We know from Israeli and defectors' intelligence that the son of the Syrian defense minister was paid 50 million bucks to bring the stuff across the border and bury it.

...and other links easily found. Not to argue, I just wonder how you can feel so certain.
