Apologies if this has already been posted - I had a quick look and didn't see it.

Just got this in a newsletter from Firebox this morning and it made me laugh - they must be branching out into D/s!

Adult Naughty Step

Thought it would appeal to those into the DaddyDom side of things, or humiliation. Or could just be a fun talking point for anyone to have in their playroom!

This was indeed an April Fool (though Firebox really do have it on their site, I didn't just make it up!)

Suppose I should have posted it in the Random Stupidity forum, but that would've given the game away somewhat.

Nope, it's the one thing that's missing... lol. Seriously, we're not into roleplay, more SM, so it wouldn't be our thing.

On the other hand, I can see a market for it.... gotta be people who're into that sort of thing who have flats or bungalows with no stairs....

Sisal would be good, going by what I suffered while assembling my cat's multiple-scratching-post climbing frame... lol

No, I leave the sisal to the cat... lol. We'd be more into impact play than anything, though we do use other stuff too. Not sisal, though.... so far!

Well, my cat is a Dom, then.... he's happy enough to stick all those needles into me while kneading my lap, but mostly ignores all those scratchy posts in favour of my nice soft sofa when he wants something to sharpen them on!

Wotsits are (were?) a type of cheesy flavoured crisps over here.... quite tasty.

Well, to be fair I don't think that's what the people who wrote the ad actually meant by it - it just reminded me of the crisps when you picked up on the word! It would also be used to mean 'thingy', 'doohickey', 'whatyoumacallit' and so forth, here. Maybe the original form was 'whatsit', and became 'wotsit' over time?

You should still try cheesy Wotsits if you ever come across them, though. :)
