I wanted to wish everyone a happy Good Friday and Easter. This, to me, is the most important weekend on the Christian calendar and the day that I look to with the most reverence and joy.

I thought the topic title had to do with something going on in the world, and I wondered what you were going to comment about. Heh... wrong "observe."

Absolutely. Happy Easter to those who celebrate it, and happy Rabbit Day to those who only hide eggs.

K.

It is a pretty amazing weekend, and this year is sort of like the leap year of Easter celebrations. By this I mean you have Passover, Christian observance and Orthodox observance (the latter 2 only occur every 4 years on the same weekend). I personally do not celebrate it as Easter, because of the traditions of man that have taken over much of the holiday, I look at it as the Christian passover, with our Seder being last night (observation of the last supper).

Happy Easter to those that celebrate it this weekend, and happy Passover to the others.

That's really beautiful, man. Are you a Messianic Jew?

Anyway, I can understand. Actually, we had Communion and Passover Seder (though heavily abridged) at my church yesterday for Maundy Thursday. We as Christians can never forget the faith's Jewish roots. Many of our most important figures were Jews and Christ himself studied the law and prophets.

Anyway, I hope you had a great Christian Passover and may God bless you, sir.

Happy Easter! Found out we dyed 2 dozen soft-boiled eggs last night, lol!
