Today has not been a great day. The 98-year-old lady I care for was transported to the hospital this am. The paramedics dropped her because they wouldn't listen to her daughter about how to take her downstairs. Once at the hospital, it was discovered that she has had another stroke, this one worse than the one last month. She will be admitted to the intensive care unit. The prognosis is grim.
