That’s really quite sad lassy, I believe that what is good for others is good for them and I’ll respect that. Status: offline 		Well as long as it is spoken in  forum here.  my Protector has a rule that i  may not open e-mails from Dom's without Her permission and may only reply with Her permission.  and when i chat i am not allowed PM's with Dom's and Domme's for protection. and i think it a good idea. although i have come upon many who don't and say it's crap. then again i think it faking Dom's who say that, because Dom's respect the rules put upon a submissive by their Protector. am i right?

i do respect others beliefes everyone has their own beliefs, and all have been trained in their own way, i just have merely seen the bad parts of Gor as i see.  i just could not live that lifestyle.  i have a few friends i go to chat with that have been trained in Gor. and both girls are sweet. i would love to hear Your aspect upon Gor.

Status: offline 		The fastest way lass without needing your Protector to get too worried would be to slip accross, when you have time, to the Gorean Lifestyles Forum and just browse through the threads and talk to the girls there.. They are extremely informative and friendly too....  If your Protector allows you can always message me with a barrage of questions too.

My problem with Gorean lifestyle is twofold. 1, Goreans ignore virtually every aspect of John Lange's  ( pen name John Norman ) writing, and 2, quite a few Goreans snidely remark about theirs being so much harsher than the wimpy D/s lifestyle, and yet are all far more mainstream in their outlook concerning slavery than I am, and I am D/s to the core. And by the way, this is not bashing. It is a simple statement of fact.

I'd like to see this taken to the Gorean Lifestyle Forum where it could be discussed and debated more fully and without hijacking a thread....

Status: offline 		Respectfully Iron Bear, it has been my finding that any time I attempt to debate these issues, I have been accused of bashing, had the subject redirected, told that I was looking at unrealistic aspects of the novels, etc, and all the while having my actual issues avoided or ignored. I would be more than happy to debate it through mail, but had rather not face being banned from the boards for stating my views, observations, and opinions.

Status: offline 		I have to laugh............OTW's.......funny    Each Dom/me has His or Her own ways of training their subs/slaves.......In my case i guess the OTW's will have to say that Sir is not a true Master and i am not a true slave, because i have been given 20 minutes a week (if i want them) to vent my frustrations, concerns, anger or just talk without fear of repercussions..........That is Sir's way........so to the OTW's out there.......Each Master or Mistress has his or her own rules and the OTW's should not make judgements on others.......who made them the almighty GOD of D/s

***shaking head*** not a picture I want to hold in my head! But, the OTW'ers really get to me. I agree, if they are taught the Gorean way, then it's understandable. If they aren't, then being open to all is in their best interest. I feel, in time, they will figure it out when they come across a Dom that expects everything his way or hit the highway. Everyone learns what is out there, and gleans what is pertinent for their needs. The underlying basics are really the same. Just my opinion.

Agreed LA sweet. You landed roght on target.. I'll expand that if I may. "This is how things should be from a Gorean perspective and within a Gorean Lifestyle." I always prefer, when getting into such discussions, in quallifying my statements for as sure as crows fly backwards in South Austraila (so we are told), that no one directive will fit every person. L:ike everywhere else there are good guys, bad guys, genuine guys and fakes/flakes in the Gorean Lifestyle, some are even nice to talk to and be with. (Suprise! Suprise!).... We're all human (well sorta).


(Settles back towatch a whole pile os SG-1 DVDs whilst the laundry does it's thing and potter about on CM)
