I am an experienced carpenter with many tools, and I am mobile. I have worked in the building trades professionally for 15+ years. I'm interested mainly in high quality finishing work, installing dormers, skylights, and elaborate trim detail. My strengths are structural framing. My weakness is, I'm a bit of a night owl, and don't like to start working until 8am. The opposite of that, is I like to work until 8 pm everyday for weeks in a row before taking a break.

I'm interested in converting useless areas in homes into a joy to be in them. I'm especially keen on installing secret rooms, those bookcases that swing open to a hidden door when you pull a certain book off the shelf, also, I love fire poles, have loved them since I was a boy. Ideally I could meet someone with a somewhat large industrial area, like an abandoned factory or barn, so I could build whatever needed to be built.
