Occasionally a bald eagle flies over my house. Aways very exciting. My favorite raptor story is also a memory of my late father. He was visiting for Christmas one year, and had to lay down because he had a migraine. He got up a couple of hours later, and told me that there was an eagle in the backyard. This was when I lived in town, so I thought he was hallucinating. He used to do that when he had migraines, When I went and looked though, there was a bald eagle sitting in my enormous holly tree. My second favorite raptor story is the time I saw a red tailed hawk attack a crow in the skies over my property. Next thing I knew, there was an enormous flock, hundreds and hundreds, of crows flying out of the trees and chasing down the hawk. He wisely abandoned the attack and got the hell out of there.
