I've never heard or seen this said or typed, but then, I'm usually the one who moves away. Being military will do that to you, as was noted by more experienced heads earlier in the thread. For me, the biggest challenge after being released from a Dominant was trying to make the next one understand that yes, I'm a transient person by job, nature, and preference. It's only after providing references that they've accepted that I'm not the "my Dominant moved away" guy trying the same game from the other angle.

Of course, I don't actually blame the Dominants, because a healthy amount of skepticism is a good thing, especially when coupled with the internet and its users. It's just frustrating at times to have to prove I'm me, and that I do what I say I do.

I have read through every post on this thread. As to Americans changing jobs frequently, I agree even careers. BUT 90% of those doing so stay in relatively the same area. Most move (if at all) less than 20 miles from their present location. I have changed jobs (not careers) 5 times in the last 20 years, and am still in the same area, give or take 10 miles. So yes, I understand that it is hard to believe the Dominant moves across the country or to another country hard to swallow. BUT I do know it happens. As I have personally known of 3 Dommes that moved over a 1,000 miles, it does happen. Laughing, doesnt sound like a high stat, but when you live in an area almost devoid of Dommes that is a large percentage.
Oh, and squirrel.....as I live in an area surrounded my military bases, it is easier to accept that the submissive moved away than the dominant, as most of the dominants I know are in their 40's and 50's. Hows it going stuck on that rock? Sundew

Its going, and thanks for askin'. New faces, new culture, enjoyable times. Toned down my search for the scene here, as I found this might only be a one year assignment instead of the original two as planned. If that's the case, then I can wait it out. A year is nothing.

it is quite possible, but for me personaly if i had a choice then by god id find a way to move with my Domme. i think that it is possible that about 50%-89% of them are just trying to play You for a simpathy trip. what do i know, just my thoughts.. but a s the other person said, ask them for refs to their Dom/mes, if they cant provide that little bit of information then i would avoid them.
