I've never heard or seen this said or typed, but then, I'm usually the one who moves away. Being military will do that to you, as was noted by more experienced heads earlier in the thread. For me, the biggest challenge after being released from a Dominant was trying to make the next one understand that yes, I'm a transient person by job, nature, and preference. It's only after providing references that they've accepted that I'm not the "my Dominant moved away" guy trying the same game from the other angle. Of course, I don't actually blame the Dominants, because a healthy amount of skepticism is a good thing, especially when coupled with the internet and its users. It's just frustrating at times to have to prove I'm me, and that I do what I say I do. *grumbles*
