You mean I wasn't lying about it, or made it up as I've been accused!? It really is appropriate!? I was going to scan and post it but again - that could have been anyone's test.

The bulk of us do not carry around our birth certificates, nor are we required to carry around our SS cards.  The people of color (particularly of brown color, in this instance) to show proof they are Americans just because they're walking around in Arizona, to me, is unconstitutional.  There are better ways of doing it than taking a step backwards.  IMO.

B is a Canadian citizen and a resident alien (legal resident of the US although foreign citizen). He is required to carry his green card with him and produce it on demand. He is very white, reddish blonde with blue eyes, and has been required to provide this green card many times since we've been together (since 2003). We are in Washington State (for about another week) and it's certainly not because he's brown or Mexican that he is required to produce this green card. Why do you assume that if someone is required to produce papers, its because they are "brown?" People produce documentation here (WA) all the time because we are a border state. How is Arizona different?

Nine pages and you finally post it.
I read it a couple of times and could not find the part that says that it is a felony to enter the country illegally.
Could you show me that part...maybe with your self admitted quoting skills you could help us all out.
So far you have shown that being an illegal alien is punishable by a six month stay in the poky for the first offense...

Merc, even when you give him what he asked for he still wants to argue.
Thompson, if you were a LEO you should know that the feds don't have "misdemeanors" just felonies.
And they don't have "parole" either, you get two years you do two years.
Which Police Dept. did you work for again?

It is nice to see that the money your momma spent on dance lessons was not wasted.
The question was and is:
Show me the fucking law that says it is a felony to enter this country illegally.
You can't do it because in your own cite it says it is a misdomeanor.

Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 101-649, Sec. 543(b)(2), inserted "or
attempts to enter" after "(1) enters" and "attempts to enter or"
after "or (3)", and substituted "shall, for the first commission of
any such offense, be fined not more than $2,000 (or, if greater,
the amount provided under title 18) or imprisoned not more than 6
months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such
offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2
years" for "shall, for the first commission of any such offenses,
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof be punished
by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by a fine of not
more than $500, or by both, and for a subsequent commission of any
such offenses shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction
thereof shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than two
years, or by a fine of not more than $1,000".

First offense is a misdomeanor second offence is a felony.
You smoke marijuana a federal felony and that is OK cuz you are merc.
Someone skips across the boarder which as has been shown is a misdimeanor for the first offense and you spend forty gallons of ink whining about it.
You are a hypocrite.
I don't care if you smoke dope.
I think all dope ought to be decriminalized.
I just take exception to your hypocracy.  You whimper that your dope is legal in California ...
it is a federal law and federal law as you well know has precidence.
If California made it a law that it was not illegal to cross the federal boarder between California and Mexico for Mexicans would you be OK with that?
Because that would be the equivilant to your dope smokin defense.

You might want to rethink this statement.

Perhaps you should go back and read what has been said.
Essentially popeye said it was a felony and I asked him to prove it.
Did you actually think I was arguing that there was no law against illegal entry into this country?
My point was and is that it is a misdimeanor for the first offense...
A fucking misdemeanor for fucks sake and we have morons on here talking about shooting people for commiting a fucking misdemeanor.
How do you justify your vociferous postings against a fucking misdemeanor?

Well, well, well, YahooNews has an article about Sen. John McCain and it says he's now flip flopping on his "amnesty" stance and now "supports" this new Az law as well as "secure borders."
The good Senator says he's been fighting to secure that border "for years now!"
Ah,...how long would it take to secure that border with Troops, 48 hours? And he's been doing it for years? WTF has he been doing?
Seems that John has had an "awakening"!
Only it's not a "good" "awakening!"
It's called J.D. Hayworth (?) rapidly gaining in the polls and it seems that if this continues John will have plenty of time to spend on his ranch come Jan of 2011.
Wow! John McCain has "flip-flopped!"
Do try to keep up Popeye...the good Senator has been flip-flopping since he sold his political soul for the Republican nomination he sought in 2008.

Thompson, are you real grumpy in person too?

You think it is grumpy to ask you to  back up your bullshit claims?

Do you have any "real life" friends?
Just you and mikey...now aint that pathetic

You seem to spend a lot of time in here arguing every "i" and "t" to death.

No I spend a little time here pointing out the bullshit that eminates from your mouth.

I bet you're one of those guys who lays in wait for the neighborhood kids to walk on your lawn so you can scream at them.

Actually they are quite safe...I live two miles from the nearest black top road and six miles from the nearest power line.

Now why the fuck did you feel it was necessary to drag my ass into this spitting match...I have enough issues and a graduation party to plan.I don't need nor do I want any of your silly argument.

Now this is actually funny!
John McCain is twisting in the wind while J.D. Hayworth is overtaking him in the polls!
So now McCain is "for" this new Arizona law and "for" securing our border and "against" "amnesty."
Talk about politicians who talk out both sides of their mouths. If he just did the right thing in the first place he wouldn't be in this awful position he's in right now would he?
John McCain's current untenable position should serve as a warning to all congressmen and senators that if they go against the wishes of The People they'll be cast out like yesterday's trash.
Now, let me go into J.D. Hayworth's website and donate another $100.

You guys are a bit slow...It clearly states that entering the country is a misdemeanor....You expect the state of Arizona to go broke trying to apprehend people that are commiting a misdemeanor?

The new Arizona law will be struck down, never signed or just never put into practice.

You fucks cant see the landscape because you are blinded by your pathetic ideology.

Merc, explain one more time why Obama won't go after Goldman? Thank God you have beth, any other woman with the capability to think would be embarrassed that they paired up with such a nitwit.
