you have been informed that SWAT people with big guns are not the swat you were thinking of...now why canty ou accept you may have been mistaken, and that it clearly is not a police action
can you admit you may need to upgrade your vocabulary or at least acronyms, or are you just gonna be completely blind and whine on about non existant gun carrying police officers

He said it.     So WHY?    Well he meant some clean up team with a silly acronym.  not guns.   but most of us associate SWAT with guns, not oil.

I know this wasn't aimed at me, but

I will admit, before this thread, whenever I heard the word SWAT team, I thought guns and cops. I will also admit that when I read that they were calling out the SWAT team, my first thought was WTF, why do they need guns to clean up oil. But now that I have read this, I know better. Thanks to everyone who provided alternate definitions.

That spill is funny? How interesting you and your friends feel that way. The death of sea life hangs in the balance of those with the troops that also have guns, as well as technical knowledge and the man power to actually make a difference in the size and effect of the oil spill... is funny, according to you.
