(Although the post might seem to be directed at subbiejenn , i'm fairly certain soumisejac is referring to INSIDEYOURMIND and myself .. so .. )

On June 25, 2004 INSIDEYOURMIND, (having been a member of collarme since January 2004) was feeling discouraged in His search for a female submissive and was concidering closing His account here at collarme as a result. On that same day i registered at collarme.
In my first hours as a registered female submissive at collarme, i was swamped by email from many who saw my profile. Although INSIDEYOURMIND had sent me an email ( i learned that He HAD only after W/we had met) i deleted His email without reading it, along with a ton of email recieved from others (there were just too many, and many were simply vulgar replies, many were ignorant replies, many contained unrequested nude photos etc).
i decided to simply browse a few profiles. i skipped past quite a few profiles which simply did not appeal to me. i happened upon INSIDEYOURMIND's profile and was quite surprised to find that He seemed intelligent, witty, humorous and it seemed He KNEW what He WANTED as well as what He did NOT want. And He is local to me ! And His age suits my preferrence as well ! And i noted He is a 'straight' Dominant male which suits me VERY well ! Most of His interests regarding BDSM actually seemed suited to mine. The bonus to it all, the initial attraction for me, 'his photo'... ( anyone who says looks don't matter ... i say BS! ... to some extent it matters to me ) One of my first thoughts was, "He's a very sexy man".
i was a bit apprehensive, but i literally took a deep breath and immediately emailed Him in reply to His profile. He replied and the email correspondence went back and forth for an hour or so. W/we eventually carried the chatting over to Yahoo Messenger so as to be able to speak online in real time. Then He called me and W/we enjoyed a brief telephone conversation. During the phone conversation W/we agreed that W/we should meet ASAP. Prior to hanging up the phone W/we set up a plan to meet the next day.
i had a date planned for that evening. It was the second date with a man (vanilla) i had met during a very rare night out with the girl's from work. Having shared a bit of correspondence with INSIDEYOURMIND, i was quite intrigued. i was very tempted to call off the date with that other man. The only reason at this point that i was STILL going on that date was simply out of concideration for the man, as i am one who always follows through with plans. i didn't want to be out on a date with that man though, i would have much rather been driving over to Rhode Island to meet INSIDEYOURMIND. i toyed with the idea, and dismissed it and went on the date. The date was 'ok', no major connection but i agreed to go out with the man again on the following Saturday evening just the same.
The next morning i spoke via phone with INSIDEYOURMIND again. We agreed that i'd drive over to His house to meet Him. i was VERY nervous. Many things wandered through my mind during the hour long drive. Would i clam up in shyness and not be able to hold a good conversation? Would He turn out to be a bore Himself, or a weirdo, or a disappointment rather than the type of Dominant i was seeking? Would i find myself sitting with a man i felt no real attraction to? Would He find me to be a bore, or a weirdo, or a disappointment rather than the type of submissive He was seeking? Would He find Himself sitting with a woman who He felt no real attraction to?
My worries went unfounded. He was not a weirdo, FAR from boring, and EXACTLY the type of dominant man i have always dreamed of & i found myself insanely attracted to Him. The attraction was mutual. W/we spent a few hours talking. W/we had SO much to talk about. The conversation was incredible. During the latter part of the conversation, His gaze captured mine and He requested being allowed to kiss me, yet warned me that if i said yes, He'd not ask permission again in the future prior to doing so (i was certain this was His way of seeking my concent and my submission). So, i said yes. That kiss set off feelings deep within me that i had never felt in my entire life. i began to fall in love at that very moment. It was only days later that i was informed by INSIDEYOURMIND that the love felt was quite mutual.
W/we continue to spend as much time together as possible (3 consecutive days a week, and sometimes more). INSIDEYOURMIND has proven to be an amazingly wonderful Dom (very firm, yet very fair.. very imaginative, very in tune with me, --IN as well as OUTSIDE of the realms of BDSM) Although i already wear INSIDEYOURMIND's collar, W/we plan to have a formal type collaring ceremony & W/we have plans to marry ASAP. W/we are currently seeking a place to live together, where W/we will reside together 24/7.
i can't wait. i have never been so happy in my entire life.
P.S. i never went out with the other man. He called a few days after i had met INSIDEYOURMIND, & i explained to the man that i felt no connection between us, thanked Him for the time spent with me, and politely cancelled the date for that following Saturday. At that point it was certain to me that all of my Saturday evenings (and any other evenings possible, for that matter) would be spent with INSIDEYOURMIND. [sm=lol.gif]
