On a more serious vein (No pun intended), being stung or bitten by some insect or reptile is, in some tribal traditions, part and parcel of the initiation into manhood rites or rites of passage if you prefer. If I wanted to test myself or anyone else for that matter with this form of testing, I would be seeking a neurologist who was prepared to administer tests with the specific poisons or poisons under strict clinical conditions to ascertain the effects on either myself or the person who is to undergo that test. This was we should be able to ensure that the ordeal doesn't result in either cardio failure, respiratory collapse or anaphylactic shock. Not my cup of tea but I have followed the path I just suggested when I have been going to areas with stingy beasties present and which are a problem for those not native to that area. I also know people who have snake venom injected to aid (in theory) a resistance when and if they are bitten.

Status: offline 		I've heard of ants and bees and wasps being used. bees would probably be reasonably safe given that there're people using bee stings to treat arthritis and other stuff safely. I think I've also heard of coating needles in small amounts of venom for play piercing. again, safer than using an animal because you can control the potency and amount of venom much better. I've also heard poison ivy being used on genitals, which is just evil. but yeah, anything where there's a reasonable chance of having to go to the hospital, wouldn't do it. test any venom you use and wait an hour or so to make sure there's no allergic reaction, and since you're watching, you should be able to head for the hospital fairly fast. ants I'd probably use, but not fire ants. normal honeybees yes, but not many. ditto for wasps. don't use snakes or scorpions or venomous spiders at all.

  • the scorpion can't consent
  • the scorpion is a critter - see the horrendous thread on bestiality
  • the scorpion may well be harmed in the process
It's all the more wrong because with salt, deep heat, ginger, lemon juice etc etc there are plenty of other ways to cause yourself intense pain if you choose to do so. All of these things, subject to allergy etc etc are less risky than scorpion venom which means - in my own personal and highly subjective view -  you don't have to be fucking mad to try them (now as it happens they're not my cup of hippo but people should be free to fuck themselves up a bit if they want to) but grabbing a scorpion and deliberately popping it onto your pecker definitely does fall - in my own personal and highly subjective view - in the catergory of "nutty".

Anyone suggesting something like that would be done for me as quite frankly I react very strong when it is about using animals in whatever shape or form and in whatever way... including animals to harm anyone for no real reason is never with their consent, which means for me it is abuse and thats on my hard limits

Still depends if it is known if the other person is allergic to it or not. My cousin can die from a single bee sting and had a few admissions to hospital during his child hood as he is severe allergic to it.

actually i knew of someone who was stung by a bee in the throat and died due to the area swelling and inflamming so badly their windpipe was constricted.  someones son actually, they found him dead in the garden -  really sad.

as for the scorpion idea - you could always remove the sting or milk the poison first as a mind fuck.  but to be honest i think its a really really bad idea.

did anyone hear of the lady who had her arse bottoxed and died of anaphylactic shock - people do the craziest things

Better idea. Definitely keep the snakes but add..... Handcuffed to the wall. Key in melting ice cube above hands. Anti venom juuuuuuuuuuuuuust out of reach without being un cuffed.

Will the ice cube melt in time........tick tick tick.....

I picked up my pants, reached in the pocket for my wallet and felt a jab in the tip of my finger. I thought the tooth pick I kept in my wallet had come out and jabbed me. As I carry my pants into the bedroom I hear my girl screaming something about a “poison crab” in Spanish. Flipping the pants around I see a big black scorpion. So I did what any maniac would do, despite the hysterical Mexican girl, I catch the thing in a jar.

A few minutes after catching the scorpion, the mild venom caused warm tingly waves to flash up my forearm. Being I am on a remote island, without phones... not much I can I do about it. So I take some benadryl. I lived. It wasn't even as bad as a bee sting and that's when it hit me. What great from of BDSM torture . . . . . . . you're kidding me with the OP right?
