(Smiling) I met a dominant man here who turned into about the best friend I have ever had. And here on Polls and Surveys, I was and remain quite overwhelmed by the nice people who simply made room for me to play, too, and send me friendly letters and are so nice and so real and kind. No matter what is going on in my life, I find friends waiting here with their friendly word-battles and conversation. Thank you so much to all of you!

There are phonies and creepy sorts, but thank goodness for the words "Thank you, but no" and should that fail, the delete and block buttons.

Basic common sense tends to suggest that the more intimate the relationship you are seeking, the greater the majority of unsuitable candidates are to be found on the Internet.

Good to see that you've revised the profile to be more positive and have worked out exactly what sort of relationship you are seeking.

My suggestion would be to keep working on that attitude, and to work towards finding the person, getting to know them, and then start thinking about the sort of relationship you want with that person.

This website in giving you the opportunity to use its space to create a profile and upload pics has done its job and cannot be blamed. Success or failure with other people on this website depends only on one person - you.

Not exactly rocket science or advanced psychology, is it?

Sorry VAA, it was totally snarky. Back when there was that wild rumor about the words Fetlife being snuffed out from posts, cmails etc. And there's certain folks who claim the real people are over there. So I couldn't help making a bit of fun. Sorry, won't happen again.
