Alot of People remeber Micheal Hutchings

They say that He died from Asphixiation

Breath play is very common. I find it hot. It's also highly risky in general compared to most kinks.

Are the Mental cigarettes a lot more healthy then the normal menthal cigs? Do you have to smoke them with your ears? (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

I've known people for whom breath play was a real turn on, though it always has seemd to me to me more tied to the power exchange and D/s dynamic then to a physical reaction or sexual connection.

It is not too rare for people to be officially documented as a suicide when they were actually practicing autoeroticasphyxiation. In other words, they were wanking and choking at the same time. This results in all sorts of ways, including lynching with toes on a chair or something like that. Obviously don't try this at home. There are usually mentors in the community who can teacher safer ways, if you're super interested in risking it. For the rest of us, hold our breath or laying face down half smothered in a pillow gives enough of a rush for a fancy wank.

My Dom and I engage in breath play. He only uses his hands to restrict my air and blood flow. It can be very dangerous, that is why I play with only him in this manner. I'm trusting him w/ my life. I always joke that our scenes which often include sex, must look like a rape/murder in progress.

Actually, this kind of "play" started in the gay community many years ago ( well it became prevalent in the early 80's)--IMHEO as a New Orleans PO, it is dangerous, fool hardy and most of the time the person never knows if they had a good orgasm or not---good news it was to die for, bad news too many did.

Now as wild as this little kitty is for breath play, irregardless of the danger, I can't see doing it alone. If you will look at the question I posted here you will see that a couple of weeks ago I lost consciousness doing breath play, I shudder to think what would have happened if I had been doing this alone. Having said that though, if you like it and are cool with the risk factors more power to you! But I will says this the thought of doing breath play alone doesn't do a thing for me, a big part of it for me is the feeling of his hands around my throat.
