A lot of good postings here, but I will add a few.

Disturbed - All of their albums, but particularly "Indestructible"

Evanescence - Again,  all of them, including their first independent album "Origin"  Still no luck on finding a original hard copy. :(

Someone mentioned soundtracks...  I add for edification

Halo 2 video game soundtrack

Lord of the Rings trilogy, particularly the extended leather bound editions

Kingdom of Heaven soundtrack

And if you are a Halloween/Samhain freak like me (the holiday, not the movie)  you seriously cannot go wrong with anything by Midnight Syndicate or Nox Arcana.

The Repo Man soundtrack is really good as well. There's some cracking stuff on that one.

Never really been a big fan of the Suicidal Tendencies. The Circle Jerks are entertaining. And Black Flag, back when Henry Rollins was kinda cool.

I'll add the Pretty In Pink Soundtrack. :-)

Slippery When Wet-Bon Jovi (Okay...maybe I just like the title more than the album, so sue me :P )

Kaleidoscope-Siouxsie and the Banshees

Welcome to the Pleasuredome-Frankie Goes To Hollywood (Yes, I was a huge fan, again...sue me )

Colour By Numbers-Culture Club

Untouchables-Korn

Queen of the Damned soundtrack

Century Child-Nightwish

Best of-The Doors

Just a few I've enjoyed over the years. As you can see, I was always more of a singles girl than an albums girl when my love of music first took hold. :P

Hell, there are so many that have been personal favorites over the years, I'd never finish the list. But I'll give it a shot. Bear in mind I am not up to date on stuff performed in the last 15 years or so; I was doin' other shit. And Kings of Leon bore me. These aren't in any particular order...

Cheap Thrills - Big Brother and the Holding Co.
Happy Trails - Quicksilver Messenger Service
Workingman's Dead - Grateful Dead
Aoxomoxoa - "
Allman Bros. - Fillmore West
LA Woman - Doors
After Bathing at Baxter's - Jefferson Airplane
Crown of Creation - "
Bless It's Pointed Little Head - "
Plastic Ono Band - John Lennon
Revolver - Beatles
Rubber Soul - "
Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl
Meet the Beatles (& most other Beatles LPs)
Riot on Sunset Strip - Standells
Kick Out the Jams - MC5
Green Grass and High Tides - Rolling Stones
Sticky Fingers - "
Waiting For Columbus - LIttle Feat
Green River - CCR
Deja Vu - CSN&Y
Disraeli Gears - Cream
Highway 61 Revisited - Dylan
Blond on Blond - "
Are You Experienced - Hendrix
Axis:Bold as Love - "
Electric Ladyland - "
Cry of Love - "
White Bird - It's a Beautiful Day
Ummagumma - Pink Floyd (my 1st trip)
In Search of the Lost Chord - Moody Blues
Panama Red - New Riders of the Purple Sage
Blue - Joni Mitchell
THe Nuggets Collection of 60s Punk & Garage Bands
Sailor - Steve Miller Band
Brave New World - Steve Miller Band

This is much of the stuff I love from the 60s. There's a lot from later (and some from earlier, including jazz, Big Band, Sun sessions (Carl Perkins, Elvis) as well as quite a bit of "classical" ("Horowitz in Moscow" is beautiful, and I love "Friday Night in San Francisco" with John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia, and Al DiMeola)
But I grew up in the 60s and early 70s, and that's what is mostly imprinted. Donovan, The Rascals, Three Dog Night, Blood Sweat and Tears, the Association, Mamas and Papas, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Monkees, Chicago Transit Authority, Byrds, Kinks, Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, the Ventures, The Turtles, Lovin' Spoonful, Animals, all those bands and acts I heard on the radio as I was growing up. Not to mention the Doo-wop, and Motown, and Memphis...

Great times for music!!!

Blue Oyster Cult's first album, which i believe was named "Blue Oyster Cult." (For some obscure reason.) Not a bad cut on the whole disc.
