I've never given my definition of any of those, despite your trollish demands in hopes of another one of your thread derails. Yet you lecture us about what my opinions are without having even read them, once again going on and on about something that you're totally ignorant of.

As per your usual.

Much like Obama, and Holder. [:'(]

And still you have not a single point.

Musicmystery -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:32:31 AM)

Nope. I just pointed out the errors in your stated jibes, and opened the door to you clarifying.

You didn't, as you've no idea what you're talking about; you just continued (and continue) to take shots, all without addressing the issues and topics at hand.

So yeah, if you have any better understanding, you sure aren't showing it---yet you keep talking.

Irony.

Maybe she couldn't have. We will never know, probably.

There was also nothing to suggest Obama could.

Yeah, we fucking do know!

She walked out of her governor's job midway through her term because she could not handle the pressure.

And people seriously are thinking of this woman as a Presidential candidate for 2012?

tazzygirl -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:34:53 AM)

I wont show you mine either. Its about the right to privacy. Its about being held to the insane demands of others time and time again. I wont show you my nursing license. Its not your business. The fact that a nurse works in a hospital is enough. They dont have to show that piece of paper to every patient. He IS President. If he starts with bowing to your demand of his college transcripts, where does it end? There would be no end to the demands then. And once started, the complaint would be over and over... what are you hiding? you showed x,y.. why not z?

I dont blame him, or any other President for not giving into this assinine demand of his private life. Unless you have proof there are lies contained within, you have no reason or right to see them. If you have proof, take it to court. If you dont, let the matter drop. Its becoming boring to see that same ole cry of... show me yours because i say so.

Translation - "opened the door to you clarifying." means lets change the subject to you because I'm losing my ass here.

Its not his private life its his academic record, something that we should expect to see if he wants us to trust him with that position.

Musicmystery -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:38:24 AM)

Why you want to continually replay your ignorance on this is a mystery.

You raised points factually inaccurate. This was explained and supported. From there, you attacked everyone doing the explaining--not by correcting them on the issues, but by labeling them "trolls."

My acedemic record isnt open to just anyone either. Is yours?

As i stated, unless you have proof, then its not your business. Its not my business. The school itself states he has standing there. Harvard Law Review states he had standing there. Im not sure what your point is in wanting to see those records? If its to prove he went, you have that proof.

Sanity -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:41:46 AM)

You're so full of shit, you didn't address any inaccurate facts, you were delving into your childish personal attacks as you so often do.

I am sure they will be in his presidential library, and you can pay to see them.....just about like every other president and common man.

Sanity -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:44:18 AM)

We're not  discussing me or you, we're discussing someone who is asking to be president. Think logically, take off your DNC issued blinders for a second, and ask yourself what high level job does not require serious applicants to disclose their academic records?

So now reference material on libertarianism, liberalism, conservatism is childish attacks? Encyclopedia Britannica is out to get you? What did you do to them?

I did address inaccurate facts, starting with you equating libertarianism with conservatism and misstating liberalism--to the point that some "conservative" points were liberal points.

You never addressed any of that. Apparently, you can't. You just replay the troll/attack thing.

Endlessly.

It's a policy discussion. Or at least it was for everyone else.

Sanity -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:50:32 AM)

You could have cut and pasted information into a new thread if you were truly interested in defining terms, as opposed to going for another of your derails.

A long list of derails, ever growing.

Musicmystery -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:54:31 AM)

You raised the points.

Others responded to those points.

Because they disagreed with your errors, you consider that a "derailment," and the posters "trolls."

The derailments came from your responding not to the points but rather with incessant attacks.

And you're STILL going at it, long after the fact.

Sanity -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 9:58:21 AM)

No muse, it was wholly important for you to try to ridicule me in order to deflect the topic at hand and your weapon of choice was terminology in that thread. Everyone understands what these various terms mean even if we each see things a little bit differently and for you to pretend otherwise is just literal trollishness.

Not at all. You were treated quite politely.

Your only source was a comedian. Do you really want to replay those errors again? No amount of attacking without addressing the points will suddenly make your assertions correct.

He holds a license to practice Law. I do believe that constitutes the proof of his education.

Is asking? I thought he asked and was elected. He is the elected President. The people accepted him. His license to practice law and teach as a professor speak for his acedemic accomplishments.

Again, i ask... what is it you are hoping to discover?

You never read your own posts do you? Go back over them sometime.

My only source for what, trying to turn away your derail? You demanded a definition, you got one. You didn't like it? Tough shit. His definition is entirely accurate, and whether you can handle that or not is immaterial because you and your friends don't get to choose which definitions for anything that other people subscribe to.

Sanity -> RE: Ghostbusters and Obama (5/28/2010 10:13:50 AM)

The people are learning their lesson in that regard, too. What am I hoping to discover? Whatever it is that he feels has to be kept from voter's eyes. Naturally!

His definition is entirely accurate.

Entirely accurate?

A link to a talk by a comedian who explains that liberals think America deserved 9/11 so we shouldn't do anything about it, and thus they hate America? Any evidence of that silliness?

Or, as brainiac put it:

quote:

ORIGINAL: brainiacsub
Thomas, you have to be kidding. This is the best you could come up with?

What I find laughable is some of the comments to this video, namely this one:

"If a conservative doesn't like guns, they don't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, then no one should have one.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, they don't eat meat. If a liberal is, they want to ban all meat products for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
"

Let me try:

If a liberal doesn't like homosexual sex, then they don't have it. IF a conservative doesn't like homosexual sex, then nobody should have it.
If a liberal doesn't like abortions, then they don't have one. If a conservative doesn't like abortions, then no one should have one.
If a liberal believes in racial equality, they become advocates for the underrepresented. If a conservative believes in racial equality, the only racism they will acknowledge is reverse racism.

Besides, as Jerry Falwell explained on Pat Robertson's show that 9/11 was the result of "throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"

Rational discourse in action.

Are you SURE you want to replay this yet again?
