Click the little blue planet symbol second from the end of the line right above where you type to post. A window will pop up. Type or paste the link in it. Oh. Just realised I am probably suggesting a more basic item than you wanted.

While we're on the subject of clickable links and inserting photos into posts, does anyone know if we can still upload our own avatars? I think we used to be able to do this, but the admin has placed a ban on it. Thanks!
