how long can u wear a nipple clamp for ? i have one on most days for 5/10 mins. will this cause damage to my nipple etc. any advice is greatly appreciated. my ex dom loved them, and i wore them a lot when playing

15-20 minutes is fine for most people. If you have specific health issues like circulation difficulty, or syndromes that cause extremities to go cold easily, then you should be more cautious. But even that can be fun for the top, after all they hurt the most when put on and taken off so if he has to do so every five minutes, he gets more fun out of it.

If the clamps are attached so that they can easily be pulled off with almost no pressure, they can be worn for a longer length of time.  If the clamps are attached as they usually are, tightly, then you can have them on for 15-20 minutes as DesFIP has already said.   Any longer could cause damage. 

I remember a post from a few years ago.  Seems that a young male submissive with no experience agreed to meet a female Domme.  She tightly attached nipple clamps to his nipples and left them on for hours.  If I remember correctly, they only had the one play session.  Well, it was 6 months later and the poor guy was wondering if he was ever going to get feeling back in his once sensitive nipples.  Apparently the clamps had done nerve damage and it was likely that the guy would never recover the feeling that he once had. 

Moral of story
Better to be safe than sorry.

think you should consider nipplerings,  then you can wear weights in them als long as you like

I don't think weighted rings can produce the same kind of feeling that clamps do.
