Hi.... I go by the ID "TheGentleDomme." I don't have a scene name. I had been a member of collarme.com before but I ended my search for some time because I was fed up with the half-wits I was hearing from. I'm back again... makes me wonder who the masochist is... lol
Anyway, I'm 30 and from Rhode Island. I'm not much of sadist. I am naturally dominant in personality. I've had a very hard time finding a significant other for that reason. As many women can attest to... most men want a docile, submissive female that conforms to societal norms in behavior and body shape. I, personally, have no problem with traditional gender roles for those that fit them... I, however, do not.
I don't particularly agree that either gender is supposed to be dominant. I think, at least today, that gender does not play a role in deciding that. I find the arguments for a biological dominance also moot. We are not chimps even though they are our closest ancestor.... we happen to be equally close to bonobos that are matriarchal. So the dominant males get a "whatever!" from me on that one.
I'm not sure how this post became a philosophical/anthropological musing... but it did. Anyway, hello bboard.
