my favorite scene music is mostly good for a scene involving pain or at least contact with the flesh for its beat.  It's on the Cirque Du Soliel Vareka Bonus CD Track #6.

I have Tapis Rouge, which is also from Cirque de Soliel. I love it and use it in my massage practice, which also involves contact with the flesh :-).

The only "music" we "scene" to is the sound of the rain falling on the ground, the crickets, the crunch of the freshly fallen snow under a naked tush...

I think for pure chant, I like 10,000 Virgins from Anonymous 4.

Master Sir has given me the assignment of finding music that is appropriate for sceneing. He told me that someone else told Him of some type of chanting. i was wondering if there were any particuliar artists or cd's that i could find or even make myself of music that would be great for a surrender scene. the music doesnt have to have lyrics. Master Sir said it should not be distracting either. i was just wondering if A/anyone had an opinions. thank Y/you. please be well.

Anything from Rammstein (sp?) when I'm being beaten.

Anything from Pink Floyd when I'm being kissed.

Anything from Barry Manilow when I want to shoot someone.

Master and i have almost all of Enigma's CDs.  It is our favorite music to scene to.  It is sexy, hot and almost hypnotic without being intrusive.

If you're fond of enigma you may find anything by the following pleasurable:

Delirium  (they all pretty much sound the same to me, but they can set that mood) good to float to
Vangelis  (I suggest "Direct" although I usually re-burn it without track 4)  good to float to
Tangerine Dream  (I suggest "Stratosphere" or "Force Majeure")  good to float to
Peter Gabriel (as has been mentioned - "Music inspired by The Last Temptation of Christ")
Kitaro (I suggest "Silk Roads" or "The Light of the Spirit") - good to float to.
Special EFX - kinda semi/latin/ almost jazz
Kruder Dorfmeister: The K&D Sessions (good to float to)
George Winston (very low key piano music)
Mozart's piano concertos #21 and 23

Feeling whimsical?  Bach's Brandenburg Concertos

For Chanting I suggest:

Tibetan Buddhism, Tantras of the Gyuto
Anything Gregorian

There's a tape I used to listen to that was native american pipes with wind effects and chimes that was INCREDIBLE for massage and I can't for the life of me remember the name of it.  It'll come to me (probably around 3:00 a.m.).

For animalistic percussion play I tend to prefer heavy metal type stuff but I was actually responding to the stated fondness for enigma (that I've heard entirely too much of and hope to never have to hear again).
