Hoofs shoes are these?
There's no way Lady Gaga can just dance in this horse-like clompy footwear

UK Mail June 5, 2010

When it comes to style, Lady Gaga usually hits the headlines for her choices of headwear.

But as she walked through Heathrow Airport onlookers were struck by one thing - her heel-less hoof-like clompy shoes...

UGGGGGggggggllllllyyyyyyy

Her armadillo shoes were the height of animal-patterned footwear.

I would love to see her with a set of talons though.

Gross. When i think of Pony girl footwear, those are NOT at all what i envision. LOL!

MsMillgrove -> RE: Lady Gaga - Pony Girl? (6/5/2010 1:16:15 PM)

OMG i think those shoes are AMAZING, but then I have a pony girl myself.. and can see how they'd fit into the rest of a pony's "look".

However, they have a design flaw--in that the leather has no "give"..and makes an unsightly roll ... a bulging fold appears near her ankle as she walks in them.

Without the rest of the pony gear--I agree.. a clunky, unattractive look for dashing thru an airport.

I'm betting she loves them simply because nobody else would.  I've seen interviews of her before.  She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice, who loves being what everybody else isn't.  She said she's had that "individualistic reputation" since high school and embraces it.

gedienstig -> RE: Lady Gaga - Pony Girl? (6/5/2010 7:04:32 PM)

A beautiful voice, I'm going on a ledge here and assume it was a written interview, not an auditory. Anyways, I like her music, but she has found a leather outfit I disliked, which is quite a big fail...

Louve00 -> RE: Lady Gaga - Pony Girl? (6/6/2010 12:54:20 PM)

Actually, the interview I saw her on was on the Ellen Dengenris show.  It wasn't a written interview.  She was verbally talking to Ellen thu it all.  (Whether or not the questions or content of the interview was pre-determined, I don't know).  Thats when she said she was always considered "unusual" and being labeled an individual like that was something that came to be...her.  During that interview she was wearing a very thick latex dress (actually Ellen asked her, thats how I know), that looked like a rubber dress.  It was beige in color (kinda like the color of the shoes in the pic the OP showed.  And it made her absolutely figureless)

I don't find her particularly attractive nor interesting in the least.

I hope she goes away soon.

She is a mortal Goddesss!

When the end times come, I plan to make her my Mammalian Queen.

heartcream -> RE: Lady Gaga - Pony Girl? (6/7/2010 12:02:05 AM)

It is like I can see she is so-called different and stuff but she totally rubs me the wrong way. I find her annoying and would not listen to her music. I would like her to go away too.

gedienstig -> RE: Lady Gaga - Pony Girl? (6/7/2010 3:32:01 AM)

Like the music, but somehow the person also rubs me the wrong way, a nice way to put it by heartcream. She won't go away soon though, since she was a pioneer, the first to start dressing up so extravagant (in this time period, I mean, I know she's just taking over Madonna's reign, now Madonna has gone completely mad and bland at the same time). It's like Britney Spears, like or dislike her, but she was the pioneer of the blonde poppy princess, and that is why she is still around, and why we don't hear anything about Jessica Simpson anymore for example (not in Belgium at least).

Not getting the pioneer thing myself.

Sorry dude..........those shoes are high style and not defining a kink. Many women at the cutting edge of fashion have worn them and been photographed wearing them. I think they are ugly as hell but just look at the stuff all the top designers have been putting on their models feet the last few seasons.....

She is bringing back artistry to pop music and looking at her work as art through every medium. Her music videos are better than anyone else's currently and her stage shows are incredible. She's incredibly business savvy, owns her own publishing company and retains a lot of the rights to the songs that she writes.

I wouldn't necessarily call her a pioneer and she's not writing things like Dark Side of the Moon, but she isn't trying to. While pioneer may be too much, I would call her very, very fresh. I'd also say that she knows what she's doing very well and is here to stay.

I also say that she makes my Raptor Vestments tighten.

Well, not as much pioneer as she mainly uses influences from the 80's to bring things back. But you know, for this generation, she is the first to bring electro pop and to appear in fetish spandex costumes on a regular basis, all the ultra heavy make up, weird hats and shoes. Saw Christina Acquillera's (or whatever) new video today, and it was already heavily influenced by Gaga, even though Christina's dirrrrty video was also kinky, but she wasn't consistently like that.

Like Gaga or not, there just isn't anything out there at the moment like her, and I'm sure copies of her will follow soon. It's nothing new for people who saw Madonna in Human Nature, but for teens all around the world, she is a pioneer. That's how I view it at least.

I'm not a big fan of *pure pop* music but I have to say, I do love her artistry. She's definitely apart from the pact. Kudos to her for doing her own thing.
