I take this time to thank me and all of those like me. the non-servers. The backbone of this great nation.

So your sense of dignity and honor totally discounts the fact that Bush got us into 2 wars.

Discounts the fact that he commeorated D-Day twice, but that is honorable to the Vets to you, while Obama missing the first is dishonorable.

That he appointed the idiot in charge of FEMA who allowed... yes... allowed... all thos people to die in Louisiana.

That he made us a laughing stock in the eyes of the world.

That he bullied his way through half of them, and attempted to bankrupt the other half.

Do we have to mention the Weapons of mass destruction that were never found?

The waterboarding torture he approved of?

Status: offline 		I happen to think Obama has more than enough sense to listen to those in the field, pa. I also happen to have enough faith in the man to listen to all sides before making a decison, something he is well known for. Pulling out too early could lead to more problems than solutions.

Obama was given a bad situation. Just because he isnt dealing with it in a manner YOU find pleasing doesnt mean he isnt doing what is best.

I do find it a bit offensive that the incompetent monetarist dickheads who appear to be running the Republican party now were able to hand the baby over to the other lot and leave them to take the blame for the eight years of mismanagement that started coming home to roost when the economy collapsed.

Over 30 on Obamas staff are former Goldman Sachs.

And for your 411- none of the required solutions are being put into place 2010.  NONE.

This means that we are not in a recovery and that things will get worse.

Clinton, Bush, Reagan all had wall street revolving door.

What is the endgame you ask?

Wipe out the middle class of the US.

Consider that per capita per kilometer - we have declined since 1968.   This road we are on is a decline- and when you blame the coke party- and someone else blames the pepsi party- it hardly matters since people are dehydrated and the soda makers does not care which flavor it sells- as long as it is the only vendor.

If I had the common sense of a stone when I was 16 I would have been with you instead of cleaning the shit house and putting up with the mindless moronic bullshit of people wearing green suits.
Rest assured I have warned all of my family members of the dire consequences of being caught by me any where near a recruiters office.

I thought Bush did commemorate D day. If not I will admit I am wrong.

No the facts are that he was court martialed and thrown out of the militia.
A court martial is just a judicial proceeding (a military trial as opposed to a civilian trial.) He was suppose to be in charge of these fellows and was unable to control them so he got chucked out.

  • June 16. Lincoln re-enlists in Capt. Jacob M. Early's independent spy company at Fort Wilbourn.
  • July 10. The mustering-out roll of Capt. Early's company, written by Lincoln, is certified by lt. Robert Anderson ( who was to be command at Fort Sumter in 1861).


This does not imply he was court-martialed but the unit itself was disbanded. I don't disagree that he might have been but what I had found did not imply that.
